Refunds are not given if you do not actually see a turtle, as fees go towards continuing Turtle research as well as providing the centre displays and films shown. A sighting can never be guaranteed, and though turtles appear most nights, there will always be the odd occasion when they do not show. Further refund enquiries must be directed to the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service direct on (07) 4131 1600.
There is limited flash photography equipment allowable at the Mon Repos site. Please ask the Ranger for further details. The tour will operate in almost all weather, including rain. Refunds are not granted if it rains on the evening of your booked tour. Smoking is not allowed in the Mon Repos Turtle Rookery or on the beach during turtle viewing.
To protect the animals and preserve your safety as a guest, all turtle watching guidelines must be followed at all times. If you do not follow these guidelines, you may be asked to leave the Mon Repos Turtle Rookery at any time and without notice. In this instance, we advise that no refund will be granted.
The turtle experience at the Mon Repos Turtle Rookery is managed by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and the Environmental Protection Agency. The experience is not offered by Bundaberg Region Visitor Information or its affiliates, as we act as a ticket booking and ticket information agency only.
Neither the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, the Environmental Protection Agency or Bundaberg Region Visitor Information or its affiliates offer any responsibility for your motor vehicle or your belongings while you are at the Mon Repos Turtle Rookery. We strongly recommend you lock your motor vehicle and hide/secure any valuables.
If you are unable to join the tour on the evening of your booking for any genuine reason (illness, incapacity, etc), a full refund may be granted. In this instance, any requests for ticket refunds must be directed to the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service direct on (07) 4131 1600. Any ticket refunds will be made at the discretion of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. For this reason, Bundaberg Region Visitor Information does not provide any refund on your ticket at any time for any reason.
To change the date of your booking, you must contact Bundaberg Region Visitor Information before 3pm on the day you are booked to visit.
